UI/UX Project Lead

My journey at ILM UX really took off when I stepped into the role of UI/UX Project Lead, where I had the exciting opportunity to lead a team and oversee the development of a secure, data-driven product for an international client. As a Product Owner, I worked closely with clients to help them make informed business decisions based on user data insights, which was both challenging and rewarding. I found immense satisfaction in creating a solution that was not just functional, but also secure, earning our client's trust by ensuring sensitive data was only accessible to authorized personnel. This project pushed me to deepen my knowledge of Agile methodologies, and through collaboration and a lot of problem-solving, we brought the product to life.

Junior UI/UX Designer

During my time as a Junior UX Designer, I was outsourced to work with client teams, which was both a great learning opportunity and a crash course in managing client expectations. I quickly discovered the importance of balancing creativity with practicality. Working with stakeholders who often had no idea what UX was (let alone how it worked!) pushed me to explain the value of user-centric design in simple, relatable terms. This experience taught me how to gracefully navigate differing opinions and helped me grow into a more adaptable, patient designer.

UI/UX Intern

As an intern, I was the eager learner, soaking up everything I could about UX design and development. From wireframing in Balsamiq, moved on to designing in Adobe XD and Figma, and even took a leap into UI development with Angular, I embraced every opportunity to build my skills. I loved being part of brainstorming sessions where ideas bounced around freely, and I learned the importance of a good critique in improving design. Looking back, that internship was the foundation that sparked my passion for creating designs that not only look good but work even better.
